I am an ebay PowerSeller with over 8 years of experience.

I currently purchase large lots of merchandise at wholesale and sell the items on ebay for profit.

This is how I single-handedly support my five children.

 

Due to extremely popular demand, I have begun to offer my services as an ebay seller to others.

 

Here's how it works:

 

1) You gather up the items around your home/office that are taking up space and/or collecting dust.

2) You bring them to me.

3) I sell them for you, and once the sale is completed, you receive a check.

 

SIMPLE ENOUGH?!

 

Of course, there's a catch!!

There are a few guidelines we have to follow and an agreement to be signed.

This protects us all from misunderstandings and keeps us out of trouble.

 

The following information will serve as an overview.

A consignment agreement will be provided prior to actually conducting any business.

 

 

WHAT DO I DO FOR YOU?

 

Selling on ebay is a labor-intensive venture.

For each item listed, there are many steps that must be taken for the sale to be profitable.

Here is a list of services that are included:

 

1.) Photograph each item to show its best qualities.

2.) Conduct market research on your item(s)
3.) Create a descriptive auction listing that will entice potential buyers to purchase your item.

4.) Determine the best merchandising and pricing strategy based on research and experience.
5.) Select the most appropriate category in which to list your item. eBay offers over 20,000 categories.

6.) Upload the auction to eBay.
7.) Answer questions about your item.
8.) Request, receive and process payments from winning bidders.
9.) Pack and ship the item to the buyer.

10.) Handle follow-up sale inquiries or issues.

 

 

PROHIBITED ITEMS

 Here are a few things I cannot sell for you:

  • Anything prohibited on ebay or by the USPS.

  • Illegal or counterfeit items, or items whose authenticity I cannot verify.

  • Items with a re-sale value of less than $15 (some exceptions apply*)

  • Broken, damaged, dirty items or items with missing pieces or parts. Our buyers must be pleased with their purchase.

  • Items that are heavy (over 25 lbs) difficult, bulky, or risky to package (i.e. lamp, yard tools, furniture)

  • Medical supplies, real estate, automobiles

 

SO THEN ....

WHAT CAN I SELL???

 

It's true - not everything does well on ebay.

Some things are better sold at a yard sale or flea market or through local channels,

so select your items carefully.

 

Here are some tips to get you started:

 

Some items that generally sell very well on ebay:

  • Electronics - brand new or like new in perfect working order.

  • Video games for any system - brand new or like new in perfect working order.

  • Video game systems that include all cables and controllers, and preferably a few games.

  • Name brand clothes still new with tags (sometimes in gently used condition)

  • Latest toys - For example Webkinz are good, Beanie Babies are bad.

  • Certain collectibles and figures w/COA and original box.

  • Gift Certificates, Concert and Sporting Event tickets.

  • Sporting goods brand new or in excellent condition (skateboards, tennis raquets, etc)

  • Baby and chldren's items, especially new and name brand.

 

Items that generally do NOT sell well on ebay:

  • Arts and craft supplies except for certain high-end name-brand items.

  • Genuine gold, silver or diamond jewelry.

  • Used shoes, clothing or accessories.

  • Most used household, home decor, bath/kitchen items, etc.

  • Anything old (not antique), dirty, broken, damaged, non-working or missing pieces

 

 

CHECK IT OUT FIRST

If you want to know if an item sells well on ebay, please check it out and see how it has sold for the last few people who listed it.

See how they described it, what details were important to the buyer, etc.  See how your items compares.

This is your best gauge as to whether or not ebay is the best place to move your item.

 

 

WHY USE ME???

I may or may not be the right seller for you.  Yes, I admit it! :)

I  have over 8 years of experience selling for myself and others on ebay.

I have learned a great deal over the years - usually the hard way :)

I have a certain unspoken, unwritten philosophy for how I do business.

For example, in most cases, I start the bidding low and let the market determine the item's true value.

I do not impose reserves as this deters bidders.

My philosophy works well for me.  It will probably work well for you.
